Reiki Superhero.

Introducing Mikao- The Reiki Superhero for Young People

Once upon a time, in a place not so far, Portugal, Reikinho was born. Reikinho became the hero for countless children motivating them to partake in Reiki. But, of course, he exists as a puppet, playing the leading role in a book.

Reiki is a Universal Energy, which helps the body restore back to balance. Our society is very good at inspiring young people to be academic and successful. Still, as far as their personal issues are concerned, young people suffer from bullying situations, lack of unity, anxiety, and an enormous inability to manage family situations, friendships, and school relations. All this leads to the failure of emotional management.

Better educating our children, familiarising children on knowing how to manage their emotions, finding inner calmness and capacity for expression is an outstanding achievement that could positively impact our future society.

The Reiki Book for Children, the Super Reikinho, has been an exceptional aid to understanding what children feel and how to help them deal with the healing powers of Reiki.

“If every 8 year old in the world is taught meditation, we would eliminate violence from the world within one generation”- Dalai Lama.

Effortlessly and imaginatively, the book works the self-discovery through a little friend who is the Super Reikinho, who helps the child in an inner journey understand their questions, energy, and mental and emotional well-being.

A session can last around 45 minutes, where I, the practitioner, guide the young person through a journey with Super Reikinho. They will not only learn about the reiki energy and the energy centres in their body. We call these chakras. They will also express themselves through art, colour and imagination.

The Reiki principles are –

For today, I am calm.

  • I trust.
  • I’m grateful.
  • Work honestly.
  • I am kind.

A young person learns to observe their choices and way of life. We can say that these are universal values, and there is no correlation with a religion or spiritual movement. Reiki does not have any kind of connection to beliefs.

Through these reflections, the young person shares and expresses himself through various activities that expose his creativity and joy.

In a session, a young person receives Reiki therapy to assist them in managing stress, emotional, mental and physical balance, not replacing the professional accompaniment of the psychologist or paediatricians. If your young person is suffering and unsure what else can be done, then allow them to try Reiki. It could be the fundamental key to your young person’s happiness.
